KIA Picanto Price in Pakistan 2024

KIA introduced Picanto in 2019 in both manual and automatic variants in Pakistan having a 3-cylinder in-line 1.0L engine producing 68Hp. As per the consumers, Picanto has a fuel average of around 16km per liter which is quite impressive, and a straight competitor to Suzuki Cultus. Currently, It is a second generation of KIA Picanto having a compact design with a KIA’s tiger nose signature in black with a chrome touch outline. Keep in mind, that this generation of Picanto was already discontinued globally in 2017 meanwhile, KIA Lucky Motors still produces it.

KIA Stonic Price in Pakistan 2024

KIA Stonic was introduced in November 2021 with its Facelifted version having a 1368cc engine with automatic transmission producing 99Hp . It is a crossover B-Segment compact SUV available in two variants Ex and Ex+. In 2018, the Stonic received both the iF product design award in the “Transportation Design” category and the Red Dot award in the “Car Design” category. It also received a 5-star crash test rating from Euro-NCAP.

Crossovers vehicles are gaining much attention due to their rugged and tough interior and high ground clearance making them more prominent in the Automotive market. KIA Stonic has a smart tough look that makes it more dominant and appealing on road that’s why KIA advertises it as a small adventurous car with prominent features. Currently, Only one variant of Stonic is available.

KIA Sportage Price in Pakistan 2024

A popular compact crossover SUV initially launched in the early 2000s in Pakistan but unfortunately, it didn’t gain much popularity because of its simple and straight features and no safety measures and that was the time when KIA ended its partnership with Dewan Mushtaq Groups and left Pakistan  In August 2019, Fourth generation of KIA Sportage made a comeback again in Pakistan with an aggressive bold design and appealing look melted the hearts of Pakistani consumers and suddenly within few days, It gained popularity. 

Sportage was introduced in 3 variants which are Alpha, FWD (Front Wheel Drive), AWD (All Wheel Drive) and a Black AWD special edition options having 2.0L engines make 155Hp and 196Nm torque. Keep in mind that the fifth generation of Sportage has already been introduced globally but here in Pakistan, KIA Lucky Motors is stuck on the fourth generation of Sportage.

KIA Sorento Price in Pakistan 2024

KIA Sorento is a mid-sized crossover SUV launched in February 2021 in Pakistan. KIA Lucky Motors brings the third generation of Sorento to Pakistan in three variants 2.4L FWD (Front Wheel Drive), 2.4L AWD (All Wheel Drive), and 3.5L (Front Wheel Drive) can produce upto 169-276Hp depending upon the variant.

It was the first locally assembled car to have a V6 Engine and 6 Airbags. Keep in mind, that Sorento’s fourth generation debuted in February 2021 just a year after the third generation launched in Pakistan. Thus, this is also an obsolete generation of another KIA’s model in here in Pakistan.

KIA Grand Carnival Price in Pakistan

KIA Carnival is a minivan inspired by the design of a crossover SUV it’s an MPV launched in December 2020 here in Pakistan in two variants GLS and GLS+ having a 3.5L engine producing 268Hp. It has a sophisticated exterior design with uplift headlights equipped with DRLs and a mesh bold grill making it more elegant. 

It also has some advanced features for example wireless charging, advanced driver-assistance systems, and multiple USB ports, If we talk about its performance It provides smooth acceleration and assured performance on the road. The accurate steering and well-tuned suspension provide for a pleasant driving experience.

Conclusion

Kia Motors has seen a significant drop in sales as a result of the ongoing economic crisis, which has harmed the whole auto industry. KIA Sportage is the flagship model of KIA Lucky Motors in Pakistan. Other than Sportage, No KIA car managed to sell in impressive figures. Don’t know why KIA Lucky Models still moving with obsolete models except for KIA Carnival since they are offering CBU units of it.

KIA History in Pakistan

KIA Motors with the collaboration of ‘Naya Daur Motors’ step in into the Pakistani Automotive Market. Initially, they launched KIA Pride and a pickup truck of 1-ton KIA Ceres however, the KIA had a negative experience due to its local partner at the time, Naya Daur Motors end left the country.

Then in December 1998, Dewan Farooque Motors Limited (DFML) signed an agreement with KIA and Hyundai to assemble and sell their vehicles in Pakistan. They setup there first automotive plant with the capacity of 10,000 units to be assemble per year. Unfortunately, Dewan Motors went Bankrupt and both KIA and Hyundai left Pakistan once again. Now in 2017, KIA again entered into Pakistan with the collaboration between Lucky Cement and since then, KIA dominants the local automotive market of Pakistan with there vehicles.
